  • OMA enabled but email can not be picked up by iphone

    Hi there,

    i have the following:

    Sbs 2003 with sp2
    ports 80 and 443 open
    oma enabled for users
if i type 80.123.123.13/oma in internet explorer i get to the screen where i can login.
i use the user info and password i get in as wel. and then i can see the email agenda and so on.

now i want to use exchange on iphone 4s
i fill everything in, then it first said cant confirm certificate, i say accept then the iphone accepts everything and saves the account.

then when i try to receive email it says i cant pick up email. could not connect with server.
also one other thing if i am at the office and try to connect to 80.123.123.123/oma it will say object not found.

does anyone know what setting i should change?
    thanks jamie

Re: OMA enabled but email can not be picked up by iphone

:Sigh: Do you really mean OMA or do you mean ActiveSync?

With an iPhone 4S it is an ActiveSync enabled phone so no reason to use OMA. Setup the user for ActiveSync push email in the iPhone (Don't use the OMA extension on the URL) and if you are still having issues run the tests using testexchangeconnectivity.com
