  • How to configure Exchange outgoing mail

    Hi,


    I Installed exchange server 2003,but my problem is that my company web mail server and domain hosted from a hosting company for example hostcentric.com or godaddy.

    So i need to how to send my internet mail (for example i send mail to gmail, petri.com user ) through my exchange server

    so pls guidance me OR send me configuration steps

    Not quite clear what the problem is, but as a bare minimum you will need to:
    Change public MX records so incoming email is delivered to your public IP (alternatively see if your provider offers an SMTP forwarding service)
    Set up an accepted domain in Exchange and make sure email addresses are populated
    Open port 25 inbound to Exchange
    Create a connector to send outbound mail

    You may want to get a consultant who will probably sort it all out very quickly for you
