  • OMA Small Issue

    Hello,
I was wondering if somebody could help me with a small problem that has occured with my exchange server.
Basically I had everything working fine, but recently I have been trying to set up a website through IIS. Anyways to cut a long story short when I had configured the website to work OWA wouldn't work. So in the end I deleted all the virtual directories associated with Microsoft Exchange. I followed some instructions which involved deleting a key from Metabase Explorer and rebooted exchange assistant which recreated all the directories.

In exchange manager activesync and OMA are all enabled. In IIS all I have done is created an SSL certificate for the default site.

I can now access OWA through my browser. But when I try to access OMA through my browser i get this message : A System error has occurred while processing your request. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact your administrator.

On my iPhone it will connect to the server, but won't download any messages or calendars. Can somebody suggets a reason for this and possible solution?

    Thanks,
    Ryan.

    Re: OMA Small Issue

Virtual directories aren't correct or the SSL certificate is knackered.
Can also be caused by the wrong version of asp.net being assigned.

Finally it can also be caused by the problems in MS KB 817379 and forms based authentication.

Reset the virtual directories again, with Forms Based Authentication disabled. Follow the instructions in 817379 and then enable FBA again.

    Simon.
