  • off line address book

    Hi

have a client who is using a remote exchange system. His off line address book contains invalid addresses from his old internal exchange server system.

How can I edit or delete these entries?

    thanks

    Re: off line address book

Fairly limited information to go on here but:
Is he connected to a new Exchange now? If you download the current offline address book do you still see the entries? (this should have happened automatically anyway and I can't see any reason why he would still see the old one which leads me to my second question).

Is he actually talking about the outlook auto-complete cache rather than the offline address book?
    cheers
    Andy

      Re: off line address book

It has to be autocomplete entries because the OAB is a single file. You cannot merge content from multiple Exchange platforms in to one OAB.

The only other thing it could be is Outlook 2010 and multiple accounts. But that would require the old Exchange profile to still be in place.
