  • Can't mount store

I have rebuilt my server and copied the priv.edb, priv.stm, pub.edb and pub.stm files back into the MDBDATA folder. the problem is that I can't mount the store, I get the following message.

The name of one of the database files in this store is invalid.
    ID no.: c1041737
    Exchange System Manager

I have folowed http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=906148 and still am unable to mount.

    Can anyone please help ?

    Many thanks,

    NM

    How did you rebuild it?
IIRC you must have same name (reuse computer account) and install Exchange with the /recoverserver switch
