  • Server Managment

    Hi guys,

I was playing around with Exchange 2003 installation and I installed Exchange System managment tool. I dont see any difference between the real Exchange and the system management tool

I suppose the management tools, its just use for manage user, etc, it dont have all the whistle and bell like the server it self?

    thanks
    ken

    Re: Server Managment

If you install Win 2003 Adminpack and then the Exchange 2003 tools you can manage the server from remote - without need to logon on the server it self.

      Re: Server Managment

What is it you are trying to ask exactly ?

As Yuval has already pointed out, they are Admin Tools, which means you can remotely manage the actual server.

Just because you install Adminpak.msi and can open Active Directory Users and Computers, doesn't mean your PC is suddenly a Domain Controller with AD installed!!
      * Shamelessly mentioning "Don't forget to add reputation!"
