  • Exchange 2003 and new domain

    Hello everyone,

I've a question: I've a DomainA (Win200 with Exchange2003 installed it. I've just created another tree root domain (DomainB) in same forest, obviously trusted. Now: I want users in DomainB to be able to send mail by Exchange server in DomainA.

    - I must run setup /domainprep Exchange in the new domain ??
    - Is there a step-by-step guide for my environment ?

    Thanks to all !!!!

IIRC yes you have to run it for every domain with mail enabled users.

tnx a lot for the response.

I've a last doubt......If I login with a user on DomainB and with Outlook I configure an Exchange mail account, the check name function will resolve the username of the user on DomainB ???

          Sorry for my english :P

          Tnx and bye !!
