I am running Windows 2000 SBS with Exchange and I am starting to get the following error in Application log:

    Event Type: Warning
    Event Source: MSExchangeTransport
    Event Category: SMTP Protocol
    Event ID: 1706
    Date: 30/09/05
    Time: 8:45:01 AM
    User: N/A
    Computer: MY_EXCHANGE_COMPUTERNAME

    Description:
EXPS is temporarily unable to provide protocol security with "XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX". "CSessionContext::OnEXPSInNegotiate" called "HrServerNegotiateAuth" which failed with error code 0x8007052e ( y:\transmt\src\smtpsink\exps\expslib\[email protected] 462 ).
    Data:
    0000: 2e 05 07 80

Here XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the external IP address of my SBS box.

    1 1 1 1 race 1 day,

I think it is not my case, because the server is running at about 4% processor usage and 500 MB of memory available. And network seems to be performing normally also.
I also do not think that the Exchange Information Store is damaged, there are no other errors related with Exchange.

        Thanks for the help.
        I will continue searching.
