  • Integrated Windows authentication failing

    Hi,

We are running a 2003 domain, with Exchange 2000 connected to by a mix of Outlook 2000 and 2003 clients running on Windows 2000 desktops.

Our problem is occasionally "nearly" all of the Outlook users get a windows authentication box come up mid session asking them to logon again.

The next time it happens it will be a different group of users and it affects both Outlook 2000 and 2003 users.

Sometimes it accepts them filling in all there details and connects to the exchange server, sometimes it does not and a full reboot is required (most likely in the time it takes to reboot the problem goes away).

While they cannot access the Exchange server when this box pops up they can access other network resources.

    Anyone got any ideas ?

    Regards,

    Tony

Please check that the timezone + time settings are correct in the server + clients and the users reset there password.
Also, verify that there GC on the network and the computers use the local DC as DNS server.
