  • 2nd Ex Server- Any Issues to watch for?

We are installing a second Exchange 2003 server with the intent to move all the mail boxes and services over to the new Exchange. Of course we are trying to avoid any issues prior to the new installation and would like to hear about issues and solutions prior to implementation. Some areas of concern are:

    Server Naming Conventions

Database naming- keep the same names?

Database size- I have read in MS that Ex2k3 has a limitation of 15GB on the database size, how do you get around this issue is needed? (our db is at 11GB)?

    Migration process? Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Thanks, printed off and ready to set. Typical- if I would have read the articles first I wouldn't have to ask!!

BTW- I don't want to be an Exchange expert
