  • AUTO-REPLY with public folder

Has anyone got an informative document on how to set this up?

I have a folder called "derivatives" which has an email of the same name (automatically created with the folder creation [email protected]) which lots of people will be emailing to be added to a mailing list - what i want to achieve is the ability to auto-reply to them saying the email has been received.

I have this kind of working in that I have added myself "send-as" access for the public folder so that when i send an email with "subscribe" in the subject to [email protected] I get the reply which I have set up in the folder assistant.

However if I send an email from an external account I do not get the auto-reply email?

Do I need to add some different permissions to that folder?

Thanks for any help you can offer me

Solved it my chaing the Properties on the internet message format -> default (from system manager) and checking the auto reply allowed option.
