    Hi All,

    We installed a new Backend server to our existing Exchange 2003 environment.

    We migrated 80% of the mailboxes from the old server to the new backend server.

    I changed the recipient update policy to point to the new backend server.

    Some of the ex company employees have been migrated to the new server and some of them stayed on the old.

    The problem:

    When we send email to the disabled AD user accounts that reside on the old backend server we donít get any NDR report.

    When we send email to the disabled AD user accounts on the new backend server (some of them) generate NDR report.

    Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

    Which version are your Exchange 2003 server running? There was a change in the behavior regarding NDRs and disabled accounts. Check the following article:
