  • Which is a better configuration?

    1. Using an ISA server that acts as a proxy server, a second firewall, Outlook Web Access, and Mail Relay. It will reside between the existing firewall (checkpoint) and the company LAN.

    2. Using a DMZ, putting a computer acting as exchange mail relay server, and OWA and relaying the messages into the internal exchange server sitting in the company lan.

    Thanks everyone!

The DMZ configuration would be more secure if you have a spare interface on the checkpoint box
