Re: cannot receive email from outside

Does your MX record point to the correct place???

Mines points to an external IP on my firewall and is the NAT translated to my exchange box internally.

    Use nslookup to check this

    example

    nslookup <cr>
    defalut server: servername
    Address: someip

    >set q=mx
    >type in your domain name here <cr>

You should now see a list with IP's for your MX records for your domain.

I got my ISP to create an MX record on their DNS server for me that pointed to my external address.
