    Do you have A, PTR, and SPF records set up in your public DNS for your Exchange server? Do you have the outgoing FQDN of the Exchange server set to match the public A and SPF records?

      Hi Joe..

      For my domain name i have configured A record, Mx record, PTR and mapped Public ip with that. I didn't anything for SPF records.It has to be confiured in my local DNS server or in ISP side?

      Thanks.

        Create the SPF record in your public DNS zone.

        Is mail.digitalillusion.co.in your server? Are you telneting to your server and trying to send email to gmail.com?

        Are you using a smart host?

            mail.digitalillusion.co.in = mail server FQDN
            smtp address = @digitaliilusion.co.in

              What you have originally posted is what I would expect.
              Your server is rejecting the email going to an external recipient. The information that you have posted looks like an open relay test working correctly.

              To relay through Exchange using SMTP you need to authenticate.

                  Have to disagree with that one. Most sites using Exchange can have that option turned off, and should do. Stops authenticated relaying spam which is a common problem.

                    Hi,

                    Before posting here when i called my ISP provider, they confirmed that ports has been opened for my IP.Atlast i doubted their words and checked my broadband wireless data card directly on server, i can able.Again i called ISP providers and told them, they did and worked for me.

                    whom i can blame?
                    But thanks to everyone.
