  • Backup Exec 10 (Exchange 2000 Agent) and log files

I am running BackupExec 10 with the Exchange 2000 Agent. Everynight I run a complete MAILSTORE backup, I ensure that all the mailboxes are checked, etc. After I run the backup nightly, the log files are still there. I have found that with Backup Exec, if there is ANY type of error or bad mail or a deleted email account that has not been purged, ANY that does give a 100% error free backup, the log file process will not occur. Backup Exec has been little of use on this. Has anyone had this problem? Is there any way to get the backup to run and remove the log files? I am up to 20GB+ log files.
