  • Problems sending email to .me suffix

    Hello,

I have a windows 2003 AD and Exchange 2003 on the same server.

I am having problems sending emails to an email address outside my domain. The Email has a .me suffix.

I have no problems sending to other email addresses.

The email address does exist and I also veifyed it with www.network-tools.com.

    Error is:

The message could not be delivered because the recipient's destination email system is unknown or invalid. Please check the address and try again, or contact your system administrator to verify connectivity to the email system of the recipient.

    #5.1.2 smtp;550 5.1.2 unknown host or domain: [email protected]>

    Can you help ?

    Thanks,
    Michael

Re: Problems sending email to .me suffix

wanna tell me the actual domain name ?
I suspect the domain does not have an MX record.

Let's just take exchange out of the picture here...
What happens if you try to send to that address via something like gmail ?
