  • IIS OWA forwarding

    I have this SBS 2003 with Exchange 2003. Whenever the users go to https://exchange.domain.com they go to a sbs server 2003 menu in order for them to get to OWA they have to do https://exchange.domain.com/exchange is there a way I can change in IIS so that https://exchange.domain.com gets to be the OWA?? Or will it cause trouble??

    You could use this redirect on the index.htm....

    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Company - OWA</title>
    <meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="0;url=https://exchange.domain.com/exchange"></HEAD>
    <BODY>
    </BODY>
    </HTML>
    I have this setup for port 80 to redirect them to the 443 url as well

        By default SBS doesn't have anything in the root of the site, so it must have been customised already to redirect to rww. You simply need to find out which way that customisation has been made. It could be a redirect on IIS itself or a default page in the web site with some redirect code. Find it, change it from /remote to /exchange.
