  • Delivery Status Notification (Relay)

How do you specify the sender of Delivery Status Notification messages in Exchange 2003?

Currently, the 'Delivery Status Notification (Relay)' messages are sent from the account of a former member of staff, and I'd like to change this.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I've removed the '[email protected]' e-mail address from that old account, and associated it with a new dedicated postmaster account. Delivery messages now get sent from that.

The [email protected] account goes on to the account that installed Exchange.
I would put it on the Administrator account, then you will not have any problems. I have seen it put on a special account (often called "postmaster") which is another option.
