The message has NOT been sent to the recipients server yet but you do not yet need to resend the message because it has not failed. Sometimes this can be due to the recipients server. If you get the failure, then you have to resent it. Right now, your server is still retrying

yes, you are right, I found that email is still in the Queue folder.

Okay. so is there any fine tune way to get send out thru to that server? any way to test the server connections?

      thanks for your reply bro.

Re: Delivery Status Notification ( Delay )

As far as getting the email to go through, there's probably nothing you can do as the problem is probably on the remote side. You can test your DNS resolution from your Exchange server to make sure it's able to resolve the MX record for the remote domain. then you can test the remote server by making a telnet connection to port 25.

Was there any more info in the NDR? I've seen this where greylisting is being used as an anti-spam solution, but that usually tells you in the NDR that greylisting is in effect.

that's the all info in the NDR.

I tried telnet with 25 to that mail server ip and I got these info. pls have a look.

Re: Delivery Status Notification ( Delay )

I believe that means that the server doesn't support the extended SMTP command set, but I don't think it's related to your problem. What happens when you make the telnet connection and issue the HELO command?

I couldn't even type a single word than just enter key.

got the " connections to host lost " when i press any single key and lost telnet section and back to C:\

Does it do that every time? If so, then I think your connection is being blocked. Have you got SMTP logging set up on your side? If so, look at your SMTP logs for clues as to why you're being blocked.

do you mean the event viewer log? I not sure about SMTP logging bro.

                        how can I check it?
