  • Child/Parent domain distribution group question

We have a Windows 2000 native parent domain with Windows 2003 child domain. Windows 2000 forest functional. Our Exchange servers are all Exchange 2003 SP2 native on Windows 2003 Server SP2 and reside on our parent domain. We are experiencing an intermittent issue when a few of our child domain users email a parent domain global email enabled security group - sometimes the emails are received and sometimes not. From what I saw online, this group should actually be a Universal email enabled group on the parent domain. Should the global group members on the parent domain receive these emails at all? I have message tracked the above for several emails and confirmed that this is what is happening. Any ideas would be helpful. thx
