  • Exchange 2003 Information Store Service issue

    Hi there,

    I've recently got a problem with my SBS Exchange 2003 server with sp2. Every one or two weeks, Outlook can't connect to Exchange server, I try to restart Information Store Service but it keeps in stopping status. I have to restart the server. Checked Event log, no error events related to Exchange server. Can anyone give me some help? thanks.

    Based on my experience your problems are caused by the Symantec software. Remove it and reboot. You will find that the problems go away and the server will run much faster.

      There has to be a reason the IS is going offline, double check your app and sys log.
