  • problem after configuring recipient policy

    Hi Friends,

    I have configuired exchange 2003(win2003 OS) to accept emails meant for other domains, Using the kbase available in this very site. But after configuring this i unable to send emails to other external domains. If i disable this recipient policy i am able to send mails to other external domains.

    Pls help me what i am doing wrong in my configuration.

    add the other domain suffix to recipient policies.
    ask the isp to add mx record for that domains to point to your ip
    make sure that your main domain is configured as primary.
    from now on the users will have the the original email as [email protected] and the new email as [email protected]

      With the new domains added have you changed the primary SMTP address ?

      I'm guessing your relay is only setup to be able to send from @originaldomain.com and none of the new domain you just added.
