  • RPC over HTTP authentication

Hello all, first time poster to this forum.

I've gotten so much help just reading over the last few months but I'm stumped on what I'm missing.

I'm setting up RPC over HTTP in a single Exchange 2003 environment that is also an AD.

I followed the guides on this site for setting up the server and the client side but my problem is that on the client I'm repeatedly prompted for credentials and Outlook never connects.

Any suggestions on where I should start looking?

Thanks for your time and consideration.

    Have you tried https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/

    What certificate are you using?

        Re: RPC over HTTP authentication

        sounds like a certificate issue.

        * Ensure th eclient devices trust the certificate (either purchase a real one, or add it to trusted root certs store)

        * ensure that you have the option "only connect to servers have have certificate MSSTD:fqdn.cert.name in their name"
or which ever option it is.

Let me know if these help..
