  • Connecting 2 Outlook Exchange from my home

How can i connect to my outlook exchange on my home using the VPN connection. what is the ports that should i open cause i have a firewall on my office.

If its Outlook Web Access, you need http on port 80 open. You would point your browser to:

    http://www.company.com/exchange/username

To use regular Outlook, you need port 1723 (remote logon) and maybe another. Because I normally use terminal services as well as VPN I open 3389 and 1494 which seem to do the trick.

Check out this post on connecting outlook and exchange 2003 over HTTP:

        also:

        and

In general I recommend the parent site (www.msexchange.org) as a great place to get support for exchange issues
