    Hi all,
    recently my exchange 2003 std has all such mails from calendar appointments get delay and fail to deliver. I found following errors at Exchange application event log (see below).

    The processing of the recurring appointment with the subject "CareerBuilder - xxxx weekly status call (number: xxx-4xxx-3239 / code: 25xxxx57)" in mailbox: Rick Sxxxy failed with error code 0x80004005. This appointment will not be visible in the web client or other non-MAPI client.

    the message I got is like:

    all other emails are fine.
    anyone has ideas?

      Make sure you have valid public A, PTR, and MX records for your domain and set the FQDN on your server to match these.
