    Re: exchange mgmt tools help

What happens when you try to make changes?
    Are your permissions correct?

You need to provide more information, particularly what changed at the time. Something installed on the network perhaps?

Re: Exchange Management Tools Permissions Problem

for instance i try to add a distribution list to the directory. now it shows on my console that it is done... when i go to the server it has not been done...
like wise if i want to unhide a mailbox. changes look fine on my end but if i look on the exchange server.. its not there.

i am aa memeber of domain admins exchange admins enterprise admins

do not understand why that has happened...

the only change was that we did a network renumbering and switch our entire LAN from a 202.8.10.x to a 10.0.1.x and created vlans... one for server one for printers one for networking..

Re: Exchange Management Tools Permissions Problem

I would say that is a replication problem, not a permissions problem. If you didn't have permissions to make the changes then you would be blocked and get an error. The fact that you can make the change but it isn't seen by Exchange would point to an issue with replication between your domain controllers.
