  • Exchange 2003 Public Folders

    Hi Everyone,
I am in the process of shutting down some of my Exchange 2003 Servers. All mailboxes have all been migrated off the server. I am concerned about any public folders that may reside on this server. Is there a way to check to make sure shutting this server down will not affect Public Folders?

    Thanks for the help.

If you browse the server through ESM do you see anything in the "Public Folder Instances" ?
You can use PFDAVAdmin to bulk add replicas and then leave it for a couple of days (more or less depending on amount). You can check all replicas are in sync and then turn off the server, leave that for a while and if no issues remove it.
    cheers
    Andy
