  • Exmerge fails after user moved to another store

    exmerge fails to get user that has been moved to another infostore on same server org.
    I have restored infostore to recovery group from an older time period before user was moved.
    I can pull pst for exsiting user that still is in the original store.
    I cannot pull pst for user that now resides in another store, same server.

    Because of compliance restrictions i cannot touch the object that has moved.
    I would think that by moving him back to original store i can pst the older restore.
    Any work arounds?
    Exmerge just errors with permission denied even though account has full rights.

    Presuming you hve rights to there mailbox why not just use outlook to .pst the mailbox? Alternaitvely you can use the migration wizard through ESM which allows you to .pst a mailbox.

      cannot use outlook as it sees user in current compliance store.
      I need to examine PST from the time period i restored to recovery storage group.
