  • Configuring SBS 2003 Exchange server as email server

Hello: I have inherited administration of a SBS 2003 system. The company is currently using POP3 and SMTP mail from their web host. They want to set the system up so that exchange is the e-mail server so that they don't need to use the web host. Can someone point me in the right direction for info on how to do this. Thanks in advance for any help.

You'll need to run the CEICW from the Server Management console to install/enable Exchange. You can configure the POP Connector to pull the email down with no changes at the ISP, but it's always better (where possible) to get the DNS records pointing to your server and have full blown SMTP delivery.
