  • Removing Old Exchange Server

    Hi,

    last month, I installed one new exchange server and migrated all mail boxes from old exchange servers. Now, old server is already shutdown. No errors in new server. But, I can not remove the old server from new exchange server. It's still showing in servers list of first administrative group. In the member lists of Routing Group also. And in the General tab of Public Folders properties. Please kindly let me know , how I can i remove these from my new server.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Thuya

    You have to remove the server in the correct way.
    Did you follow the Microsoft guide?

      you answered your own question;

      shuting down doesn't remove, you need to uninstall.
