  • Mailbox - send and receive failure

I have a an administrative mailbox account on my w2k3 server running W2k3 exchange unable to send and receive messages . For some reason the mailbox has just stopped receiving or sending mail. I have have a group with permissions to this mailbox and need urgent access to it since it a very important mailbox that we use to interact with our customers.
I have been looking at the threads but I may have missed it. Can anyone tpoint me or help with this issue

Re: Mailbox - send and receive failure

You want to look at the mailbox limits set for the mailbox store, mailbox, user account etc.

To connect to the mailbox from a user who has 'full control' permissions on the mailbox, you can connect to it using Outlook or OWA. Since you have Exchange 2k3, the easiest way would be to use your OWA address, so probably http:// or https://mailservername/exchange/mailbox name

Think I am right with the address. I now have Exchange 2007.

Thanks man I managed to look into the account and looked at the logs but found nothing so I send email from external account and found no bounce so it was getting to the server. I played around with the perms and resolved it eventually by resetting the perms.
