  • Receive Delay

    Dear All,

One of the exchange clients(outlook 2003) receive email 30 or 45 minutes lately. What may be the problem.
    Thanks in Advanced.

    Re: Receive Delay

I would be tempted to test the Outlook connection for the user on another machine, test with OWA, maybe log on to yourself on the problem machine and see if you get the same, recreate the Outlook profile, should it just be the user's profile. Should that fail, delete the user's logon profile (first backing up any data and making sure emails are not saved locally) and get them to logon again.

      Re: Receive Delay

Check message tracking and see when the email arrived in Exchange and when it hit the mailbox as compared to when the user thinks it arrived and when the sender thought it was sent.
      cheers
      Andy
