    Hi friends,

    My company is presently using a pop3 mail servece hosted in some other place. now i have to configure an exchange 2003 in our company as we are facing problems. Please suggest me how to perform this task, what do i need from the pop3 service provider to configure my exchange server. Please reply me

    Ideally you'll want to get your ISP to reconfigure the DNS settings at their end so that the MX records point directly to your Exchange server and you can use SMTP mail delivery.

    Exchange 2003 (Unless you are running SBS) has no native method to collect POP3 mail from an ISP, so unless you can get the mail delivered directly from the ISP you're looking at a third party product such as Popcon. However, this is not a recommended configuration, Exchange is designed to receive it's mail directly.
