  • OWA session timeout

I did a swing migration of my customers network, SBS 2003 to SBS 2003. One of the users only uses OWA and now the session times out after 15 minutes.

The customer has assured me he is selecting 'private' computer on the OWA logon screen which means by default, he should stay logged on for 8 hours.

I also went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\MSExchangeWeb\OWA on the server and changed TrustedClientTimeout to 14400 but this made no difference.

Have I missed something? Does the client have to clear the cookies locally because SBS is a new installation?

    Thanks,

    Re: OWA session timeout

Could it be a firewall timeout and not an OWA\Exchange timeout?

      Re: OWA session timeout

The user has not made any changes at his end. I have created an account and connected with OWA and I have not had my session time out in over an hour. I though maybe the cookie that gets created at his for FBA did not get deleted from when the user used to connect to the old server.

      Thanks,
