  • Mass mailing

    I have been asked to send several thousand (5-10K) e-mails during/after the new year. I have already built my case for not doing this in-house (thanks Simon ), but have horrible feeling I may be asked to stagger the delivery

    I have read this thread, although would like some recommendations for providers if at all possible.

    So far, I have found the following providers;

    http://www.mailingmanager.co.uk/

    http://www.mailchimp.com/pricing.phtml

    Thanks for reading!

      Hi,

      Must have missed that one!

      Have you used them? If so, any preferences?

        No sorry, haven't used them, but i thought you must have missed them because it wasn't on your list.
        I'd say they must have some good feedbacks since it's advertised in Petri.

          The advertising on this site comes from Google. The reason you have seen that advert is because of the thread content. Nothing to do with whether it is a good product or not.
          It is also geographically linked, so depending on your location you may not see the same adverts.

          Simon.

            Simon.
            I do understand Google Adsense and Google Adword are used in here.
            What I wasn't aware of though was that the Ads content was totally controlled by Google. Isn't there a way through Adsence for the webmasters to control what Ads get fed to their websites??
            My last comment was just an educated guess, since most ads I've seen in Petri come from fairly respectable sources (And I am not implying here that those are recommendations from Petri).

            @Mods

            Can you please split this one because I think is gone too much Off Topic

            Cheers

              Re: Mass mailing

              I will finish it here.
              Ads can be blocked - but approving all of the ads would be long winded and almost constant attention required. It would have to be across all countries and regions. A lot of work.

              Simon.
