  • AutoArchive from Exchange 2003

    Hi All,

Is there any way to configure AutoArchive settings directly on the Exchange Server for each mailbox? Or do I need a seperate tool to do this?

    Thanks in advance.

      Re: AutoArchive from Exchange 2003

If you value your email then you will not use AutoArchive at all. Get something designed for the job that does not use PST files. PST files are evil things, they break easily, get corrupt and backing them up is close to impossible.

However as pointed out, it is an Outlook feature, nothing to do with Exchange. You may be able to configure its behaviour with Group Policy. I know there is some control of autoarchive in Group Policy because I use it to disable the feature.
