    Anything in the event logs?

Have you tried looking up that error? Seems to be lots of information through Google. Nice to see someone on the TechNet forum pointing back to one of Daniel's articles http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...-5768ccbb5aaa/

The error code is very common and most postings you will find should throw up the cause.
It is usually because FBA and/or require SSL is enabled on the /exchange virtual directory.
Something should be logged on that issue, with a pointer to MSKB 817379. You could also look at my article here: http://www.amset.info/exchange/mobile-85010014.asp

i had this exact same problem. the solution:

In 'Server Management' (not 'Exchange System Manager'), Click the 'Favourites Menu' > Standard Management > Inetrenet and E-mail > Repair Internet and Email Settings > Click 'Yes' (to run the 'Configure E-mail and INternet Connection Wizrd', accepts all the settings as they are and allow the wizard to re-apply the settings once finished.

Once it has finished try your mobile device again. All should be ok.
