  • How do I make my Exchange Server a smarthost?

I want to be able to set my Exchange server up to relay e-mail for any of my customers if they run into issues with SenderBase.org. I would like to give my customer my server as the smarthost. This would only be temporary and also provided they are not on any blacklists.

At my end, how do I set Exchange up to accept and deliver the SMTP e-mail from my customer?

    Thanks,

You will need to enable it as a relay but you put your own Org at risk if they start sending out spam through you.

You could setup a 2000/2003 box (linux etc too) with an SMTP relay, that way you can use a different public IP as well.

Have you asked their ISP if they have a relay you could use instead?
    cheers
