  • Send as 2 Exchange email boxes in Outlook

I have a user who would like to be able to send from both of his email addresses. Currently his Outlook is receiving email from all accounts in the picture below, but he can only send from his [email protected]. He would also like to be able to send as his [email protected].

From what I have read the best way to do this is to create an additional domain account and add the [email protected] as his primary email account. I would then add this account as an additional email account in his Outlook Exchange email. Does this sound right? Any better suggestions?

Using native tools, that is your only option.
As far as Exchange is concerned all users only have one email address for outbound email. Any other email addresses are for inbound email only.

Therefore if you want to send as other addresses then additional accounts and the From field are the only option without third party tools.

Could I create another account for this user and set this 2nd address to his primary. Then setup 2 Outlook profiles for him? Each one attached to the separate accounts.

Two profiles will work, but remember that you cannot have two profiles running at the same time with native tools.
