  • mx record to home email server

    hello,

ok i don't know how to start but it's something like this:

i want to run (as practise and study) home mail server , so i bought a domain
name at namecheap.com without any hosting plan.

i tryed to read from articles in the web how to do this but with no success.

i'm doing something wrong ? or i missed something in the middle and it can't be done ?

Does your ISP allow port 25 inbound? That would be the first thing to check. Then ensure that port 25 is open on your firewall.
