    Just to confirm.
    1. You want to import the Outlook contacts into the GAL or into something like a public folder?
    2. You want to import the calendar so it is in Public Folders and viewable by everyone and if so what do you mean by default?

    ..

    1. You need to create contacts in Exchange for each email address. I've not done it but aside from some sofdtware that may be available, it should be possible to export your contacts to a csv file and then use csvde to create them
    i.e. http://www.experts-exchange.com/Prog..._23100630.html
If you want apublic folder then you can just copy the contacts in then right click the PF and showit as an outook address book.

    2. You can change the view of the calendar, select all entries and copy them into a PF calendar quite easily.
    cheers
    Andy

      Thanks for your help.

How do I get the calender into a public folder. Do I have to have outlook 2003 on the server where exchange is. How do I do the Copy or move?

You can't make a calendar in a public folder the default for all users. That isn't possible. Outlook will only support the default calendar folder.
Furthermore, you cannot stop the users from using their own Contacts folder. While you can change the Address Book settings to make certain folders the default that is used for searching, if you right click on an address and choose Add to Contacts it will go to the Contact folder in the mailbox.

DO NOT install Outlook on the Exchange server, that is not supported.
If you want to move content in a mailbox in to a Public Folder, just use Outlook on the user's workstation to do so.

What my client wanys to do is share the same calender so that when one makes a change the others can see it and be able to modify it.

With the contacts they want to do the same

          Is this possible

For the contact management you need a CRM application. Exchange is not a CRM.

There are various tools that can deal with sharing the calendar information - Look from Symprex is one such product.
