The Problem : My client located in another continant able to receive e-mails from my server but when he send e-mail to my server he gets error message. I did search for the error message stated above in Google but no luck.

    What could be the problem?
I dont no whic he-mail server my client is having at there end.
My domain name extention is "biz".
I saw there domain is valid. They using 2 different public DNS servers. I can see that in dnsstuff report.

Last week again 1 employee from my company who is abroad using web mail, said he receives failure delivary when sending mails to employees within my company. The error says "The destination server for this recipient could not be found in Domain Name Service (DNS). Please verify the email address and retry. If that fails, contact your administrator."

    Any help?

Can they telnet to your server on 25 using the A record you have set for your MX?

It sounds likely it is a fault at their end not yours. You really need them to start diagnosing the problems. Check their message tracking etc.

There are things from google too:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/870921
but without knowing what they have setup it makes it a bit difficult.

      Re: 5.0.0 smtp; 5.4.7 Error ..

I used "dcdiag" , and I was able to reach destination mail server.
I asked admin over there to do dcdiag.
      Waiting for reply from them.

        dcdiag?

If they can't resolve your MX record then they can't send emails.
I think you mentioned you could send to them without issue so the issue soudns like either their DNS servers or the public ones somewhere.

If their public dns is flaky why not get them to create an SMTP connector specifically for your domain and point it to your public IP. This should avoid the lookups.
        cheers

          Re: 5.0.0 smtp; 5.4.7 Error ..

From other end they used > www.checkdns.net to check my server response.
And they found MX record is not properly configured for my mail server
& 2ndly "Connection to mail server mail.mydomain.com [ a.b.c.d ] timed out waiting for status 220" message as well.

How ever I am able to receive mails from other clients who are in same country.
I have sent e-mail to my ISP to check validation of my mail servers record in there DNS server's.

What could be the possible cause for this?
I have told them to create SMTP connector but they might not do that.
1 thing I found when I used above checkdns tool, they using Linux based mailing solutions.
