  • SMTP connector

    Hi all,
    here's my issue.
In my company are two exchange servers.
First is for domain e-mails and second for internet e-mails.
First server sends emails via smtp connector to internet exchange.

I need to add other one smtp connector to another server in domain, because I have application, which recieves emails.

The problem is that in domain exchange is the smtp connector set as Forward all mail through the connector.... and when I add other one connector to my server it doesnt work.

Can you anyone pls tell me how I should set the internet connector to keep functionality for internet sending and add other one connector for sending emails to next server.

    Thanks

    Re: SMTP connector

SMTP Connectors are not server specific. They are either Routing group wide or Organisation wide.
If you want to use a second SMTP connector then you need to change the cost on the default connector from 1 to a higher number. Then on the new connector set the cost for the specific domain to 1 (or a number lower than the cost you have set on the default connector).

    Simon.
