  • Weird RPC over HTTPS issue

    Hello all,

I have SBS2003, and I had a system problem i had to repair it.
everything works great except the RPC over HTTPS. it used to work before the crash.
the thing is that when connecting through CHECKPOINT VPN client to the network and starting outlook, it connects successfully through HTTPS.
when connecting through WINDOWS VPN it connected through TCP/IP!

when connecting outside (no VPN) it doesnt even connect! it endlessly asks for user+password.

I recheck all the settings and reinstalled the RPC PROXY SERVICE.

and still, i have no idea what to do!

ports are all ok, i could telnet them outside (without vpn)

thank you very much for your help

Re: Wierd RPC over HTTPS issue

As this is SBS, did you run the Connect to the Internet and email wizard to enable the feature? If not then you should do as a first test.
