  • External Messages Received Multiple Times

    Hi.
I'm having problem with one of my user email. He keeps on getting the same mail many times. We actually have an exchange server 2003. When someone inside the organization sends a mail the mail is received only once but if someone outside the organization sends a mail then the users get the mail many times.

    Can someone please help me.

    Regards,
    Kevin

    Re: repeat emails

Tirut, please try to create a new post rather than hijacking an old one. Your situation is different to the OPs. I have requested that this is split.

In response to your question. What AV/AS do you have setup? Do the Exchange logs show only one email or multiple ones coming in?
    cheers
    Andy

Re: External Messages Received Multiple Times

Thread hijacking is not a good idea and will get you banned if you are not careful. Fortunately I am nice and simply split the question out to its own thread.

Re: External Messages Received Multiple Times

        Hi

Having limited experience I throw these inot the melting pot as suggestions.

Try creating a new account on exchange. Do not setup a workstation just access that account using OWA.

Send some emails to that account and see if they are repeat delivered to OWA if they are then the problem is ith exchange. If they are not repeat delivered then setup an out look account and try that
