    The only way is to send the message twice. Nothing else will work.

        Once you click send in outlook you can't then apply "rules" to it without something else. It may be possible to setup a rule, maybe in your AV? or a custom eventsink that removes all attachments on emails to certain users with a certain subject but the hassle would be significant. Can you describe why you want to do this as maybe there is another way of creating them possibly?

            Nothing you can do in Outlook apart from send it twice.
            Why not leave the attachment on a file server and provide a link instead?
            cheers

                I wouldn't think so.
                You may be able to strip out attachments when it gets to Exchange with a custom eventsink but getting someone to write it would be the problem.
                Maybe a better solution is to provide an FTP site for users to collect the attachment?
                cheers

                  you have missunderstand
                  i am going to send mail to group of people using outlook
                  To---> should be with attachment
                  cc--> should be w/o attachment

                  so we must go in add-ins or vb code

                    You can't do that because it would have to be two separate emails as Exchange wouldn't process it that way. You could set it to create two and then send them though maybe using:
                    http://www.motobit.com/tips/detpg_send-email-from-asp/
                    Maybe modifying 4 and 5 here to create something like If To: send attachment but if CC don't? You will have to wait for someone that knows how to do it though. Would be interesting to see what you come up with.
                    cheers
