  • Block internal email going to Smart Host

    Hi,

We have one Exchange Server 2003 with SP2 and one Smart Host to forward emails to outside world. On the SMTP connector I have configured to Forward all emails to this Smart Host and in the bridgehead server I have added this server.

I need to know how can I stop forwarding all the internal emails which need to be delivered locally to the mailboxes in this server, to stop going to the Smart host.

    Kindly help
    Thanks

Re: Block internal email going to Smart Host

Internal email should not be going through the smart host as they don't touch SMTP. If it is then there is a problem somewhere. Ensure that you do not have a smart host on the SMTP Virtual Server.
