  • remove data from Recovery storage

    Hi,
I would like to know how to properly remove the data from Recovery Storage group in EX 2003.
In ESM under Recovery storage group I have Mailbox Store.
In D:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Recovery Storage Group I have .edb and other files that takes 11GB.

    Thx.
    Michael.

Re: remove data from Recovery storage

In ESM, dismount the store & delete it. If you want to you can delete the Recovery Storage Group.

In Windows Explorer go to your recovery drive and delete the entire Recovery Storage Group folder. You *may* also have to empty the recycle bin, depending on the Recycle Storage Limits you have set on the server.

    Simple as that...
