  • Importing an LDIF

I am a consultant for a company that recently moved off of the parent company's AD structure and onto their own. During that move, Exchange was also moved, and is now hosted in-house (the e-mail addresses were different from the parent company).

I exported all of the users (e-mail, phone numbers, names) using LDAP Browser ( and now have the LDIF.

Now for my question: What is the best way to IMPORT the LDIF back in? I would prefer to have some sort of separate address book for the parent company... I'm fairly certain I could import them as contacts using something like LDIFDE, but I'm just not sure if that's the best way to do it. Any suggestions?
